Hi BLACKTHR0NE,
Give thanks you for contacting united states with your question. At the moment at that place is no game sharing arrangement in place in Uplay similar to the 1 you mentioned. Once registered to an account, a PC game will simply be playable on that account.

Hello DEATHDELIV3RD,
Thank you for contacting usa with your feedback. Still, the Uplay team don't make decisions virtually how individual games make use of online features or multiple game saves; those decisions are fabricated by the development teams for each game. I will nonetheless pass on your feedback on the matter. Could y'all tell me how many different game saves/profiles yous believe would be an appropriate amount?

Every bit a long fourth dimension opponent to how VALVe have implemented their Family unit Sharing system, I'm looking at alternatives.
While the consequence of overwriting existing saves/progress would be annoying, its modest compared to not beingness able to play two unlike games at the same time.
I've found one thread mention that the kickoff uPlay customer will go offline when a game is launched from second client when only ane account is used.
is this nevertheless true?

Uplay policy on PC dissimilar from Uplay policy on XBox One!
Here's the state of affairs - several years ago both my daughters were immature and they used to sit down and lookout man me playing Price of Persia for hours!Originally Posted by Ubi-Leorthian Go to original mail

2014 Nov, kids are piffling older - we bought Xbox ane and all 3 us have our ain profiles on Uplay and are tracking progress on Assassin's Creed Unity!
Feb 2015, bought Assassinator's Creed Liberation on PC (information technology's non available on Xbox One) -

Ubisoft didn't say that merely one person is 'Allowed' to register and play the game! Can you lot delight explain Uplay policy - why is it different on Xbox and on PC platform when it costs the same to buy a game on these two platforms.
Thank you.

Hello InvitedSteam80,
Thank you for contacting us with your question. On PC, once a game is registered to an account information technology is linked to that account and only bachelor to it; some games, similar Child of Calorie-free, have the option of using more than one salve game, only as I mentioned earlier in this thread, how individual games handle game saves isn't something the Uplay team control.
To discuss the manner things are handled in Assassinator's Creed games in more detail, you lot can head to the Assassin'due south Creed forum.

Hello mainframemouse,
We're aware that some kind of family sharing feature would be appreciated by many of our customers who are parents or younger siblings, then we will look into the possibilities and systems that would be required.
I have no data at the moment on if or when a organization like this will be added in to Uplay, but almost games tin be played in offline mode, and for games that can be played that mode, y'all could take 2 family members playing games at the same time.

Ubi-Leorthian,
Cheers for doing something in less than ii hours, which VALVe have non yet managed to practise in 2 years, which is to give a direct and direct reply to this effect.Every bit mentioned if you want to know how not to brand a family organization, examine Steam Family Sharing. They've made a system so good for getting free games from friends, they've needed to restrict it to near uselessness to compensate.
Sub accounts for children/siblings is a far ameliorate solution. It allows for improve parental command and combined with a simple logging of network topography permit improve protection against abuse.
